Once upon a time, there were three little pigs. They lived with their mother in a small house in the forest. One day, their mother said, “You are big now. It’s time for you to go out and build your own houses.”

The first little pig was very lazy. He liked to sleep and play all day. He didn’t want to work hard. He said, “I will build my house with straw. It’s easy and fast!” He quickly made a house from straw and went to sleep. He was very happy and didn’t think about the wolf.

The second little pig was a bit smarter. He liked to work, but he didn’t want to work too much. He said, “I will build my house with wood. It will be stronger than straw.” So, he built a house with wooden sticks. It took a little longer than the straw house, but it was still fast. He thought, “Now I can rest!”

The third little pig was the wisest. He liked to think carefully. He said, “I will build my house with bricks. It will take longer, but it will be very strong.” So, he worked hard every day and built a big house from bricks. He was very proud of his house.

One day, a big, bad wolf came to the village. He was very hungry and wanted to eat the little pigs. He had big, sharp teeth and a long, big nose. His eyes were yellow and scary. He was very tall and walked with big steps. He looked at the first little pig’s straw house and smiled.

The wolf went to the straw house and knocked on the door. “Little pig, little pig, let me come in!” he said in a loud, deep voice.

But the little pig inside shouted, “No, no! Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!”

The wolf was angry and laughed. “Then I will huff and puff, and I will blow your house down!” He took a deep breath and blew hard. The straw house fell down! The little pig ran fast to the second little pig’s house.

The wolf followed him and went to the wooden house. He knocked on the door and said, “Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!”

The pigs inside said, “No, no! Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins!”

The wolf said, “Then I will huff and puff, and I will blow your house down!” He took a deep breath and blew hard. The wooden house fell down too! The two pigs ran quickly to the third little pig’s brick house.

The wolf followed them to the brick house. He knocked on the door and said, “Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!”

The pigs inside shouted, “No, no! Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins!”

The wolf was very, very angry now. He said, “Then I will huff and puff, and I will blow your house down!” He huffed and puffed, but the brick house didn’t fall down. The wolf was tired. He huffed and puffed again, but the brick house was too strong.

The wolf said, “I will climb up the roof and go down the chimney!” The pigs inside heard him climbing up. The first little pig said, “Oh no! What can we do?”

The second little pig said, “We should make some soup!” The third little pig had a clever idea. He said, “I will put a big pot of hot water under the chimney!”

The wolf climbed onto the roof and tried to go down the chimney. He was very sneaky, but when he went down, he fell into the hot water! “Ouch! This is too hot!” the wolf screamed. He jumped out of the pot and ran away, never to come back!

The three little pigs were safe. They laughed and danced around. The first little pig said, “I will never build a house with straw again!”

The second little pig said, “I will never build a house with wood again!”

The third little pig smiled and said, “I told you that a strong house is the best. We are safe because we worked hard!”

They all lived happily ever after in their strong brick house, and every day they made funny jokes about the wolf. Sometimes, they would look at the chimney and laugh, saying, “Remember the hot soup we made for the wolf?”

And from that day on, the pigs were always safe, and the wolf was very far away, maybe in another forest, far, far away.

The End.
